OVERVIEW
The image of Balinese iconic gate at Lempuyang Temple is becoming viral on social media. One could prove its beauty by visiting this temple on a day tour. Depart from hotel around 05.00 am (it supposed to be earlier if your hotel is located on Southern Bali, e.g. Nusa Dua, Kuta, Legian, or Seminyak). Situated on the east of Bali, lempuyang is one of the six most important temple that are locally known as Sad Kahyangan. From the height of temple court, panoramic view of Mount Agung is a spectacle that worth to see. After taking some photographs, continue the tour to Tirta Gangga. This place is property of Karangasem Royal Family that is open for public after the initiation of tourism around 70s. Covered by wide portion of water, there are natural swimming pool side by side with some fish ponds that are connected by small bridge. Somehow, this place is lovely and so romantic so the couples could spending more time here.
Have lunch at the local restaurant roundabout and refresh your body with cold beverages. After lunch, continue the tour to Tenganan village. This place is home to Bali Aga, indigenous people that inhabit Bali from the earlier centuries. Here you will learn about their unique traditions by walking around their secluded village that is centered inside the jungle. At the end of the day, return to your hotel safe and sound.
